Q: When I start TouchEarth® it starts in a window/in the corner/it gets a thick black frame around.
A: To run TouchEarth® in full screen, you'll need Google Earth™ to be run in full screen. To solve this, start Google Earth™ and make it full screen, shut it down and start TouchEarth® and it should start in full screen.
Q: When I start TouchEarth® it crashes and I get error message, what should I do?
A: To run TouchEarth®, please be sure you have the latest Windows® updates, Google Earth™ 4.2 or later and latest .NET framework installed on your computer.
Q: How to enable 3D models and other Google Earth™ layers?
A: You'll have to do this in Google Earth™ itself. Open Google Earth™ and browse their help information for guidance in enabling/disabling layers.
Q: I don't get any inputs in TouchEarth®, what's wrong?
A: Make sure that you are running the TUIO Sender before launching TouchEarth®. Check that you have valid inputs by running Snowflake Suite only, which uses the same calibration config as the TUIO Sender.
Q: TouchEarth® does not run, what can be the problem?
A: Be sure not to run Google Earth™ manually before you start TouchEarth®, since TouchEarth® starts Google Earth™ by itself. If Google Earth™ is already running, when you launch TouchEarth®, it will fail. Also make sure the required external packages are installed.
